How it all began
Knot So Typical started with a love story — but not the one you might expect.
When Becky planned her own wedding in 2021 from start to finish, she realised something big: she loved the whole process. Yes, even the spreadsheets.
With over 10 years’ experience in event and project management, planning her own day felt natural — but more than that, it felt exciting, meaningful and… honestly? A bit magical. And she understood firsthand exactly what couples go through: the emotions, the overwhelm, the joy, the pressure, the decisions — and the beautiful moments in between.
She knew she wanted to help others feel that same confidence and calm.
At the same time, Tricia — a mum of two girls and a graphic designer with 25+ years of experience — was busy creating all of Becky’s wedding stationery by hand. Moodboards, mockups, calligraphy, signage, illustrations… if Becky imagined it, Tricia made it happen.
And that’s when it clicked.

A proud mum of two and a total sucker for romance, Becky is your laid-back planning partner, the one who listens, guides and brings clarity to your ideas. She helps you identify what really matters, handles the logistics so you don’t have to and makes sure no detail ever gets missed.
From timelines to styling to supplier co-ordination, she’s your go-to girl throughout the entire journey.
Tricia - the wedding signage & stationery designer
Based in Staffordshire, working out of her design studio Tricia is the maker, the creator, the one who brings your whole vision to life. Moodboards, signage, stationery, illustration, if it doesn’t already exist, Tricia can probably create it. She combines design expertise with a love of hands-on craft, making every detail feel personal and beautifully considered.
